Reverse Osmosis：The hardness of water is mainly composed of cations(Ca2+,Mg2+) in water.When raw water containing hard ions passes through the resin layer of the exchanger, calcium ions and magnesium ions in the water are replaced with sodium ions in the resin.The resin adsorbs calcium and magnesium ions from the water.In this way, the water from the exchanger is the water with the hardness ions removed.

*What is Reverse Osmosis ?

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a kind of water purification technology that uses a semipermeable membraneunder pressure applied to remove ions, molecules, and larger particles , bactaria and so on from water, and is used in both industrial processes and the production of potable water.

RO reverse osmosis system is the most economical and high efficient purification method.

Desalination rate ≥99%  , 99% organic and bacteria can be removed;

Treated water under good electronic conductivity, one stage ≤10u s/cm, two stage around 2~3u s/cm, EDI≤0.5u s/cm(based on raw water ≤300 u s/cm;

Reverse osmosis work technology and application

Reverse osmosis is a kind of reverse migration movement of osmosis, which is a separation method of separating solute and solvent in solution under pressure driven by the selective interception of semi-permeable membrane. It has been widely used in the purification and concentration of various liquids, among which the most common application example is in the water treatment process. The inorganic ions, bacteria, viruses, organic matter and colloids in raw water are removed by reverse osmosis technology to obtain high quality pure water.

Reverse osmosis is currently used in the production process of food, beverage and pure water. Pharmaceutical, electronic and other industries water preparation; Concentration, separation, purification and water preparation of chemical process; Boiler make-up water desalt soft water; Desalination of seawater and brackish water; Water and wastewater treatment in papermaking, electroplating, printing and dyeing industries.

*Typical Processing:

Raw water pump→ Silica sand filter → Activated carbon filter→Water softener → Security filter→ High-pressure pump→ 1st RO system...  
1. Raw water pump: provide the pressure to silica sandfilter/active carbon filter 
2. Silica Sand filter: get rid of turbidity, suspended matter, organic matter, colloid and so on 
3. Activated Carbon filter: Remove the color, free chloride, organic matter, harmful matter and so on 
4, WATER Softener: Get rid of calcium and magnesium ions in original / source water, reduce water hardness. 
5. Security filter: prevent any deposition of large Particles, most of the bacteria, and viruses into the RO membrane, The accuracy is 5um, for holding back any large particulates such as large iron, dust, suspended matter, impurity. 
6. High pressure pump-- Provide the high pressure to RO membrane(at least 2.0 Mpa). 
7. RO system-- main part of pure water treatment plant. The desaltation rate upto 99%, it is capable of removing over 99% of ions, bacterias, particles and 98% of organic.
